                     WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Presidents honored their seniors before the match and then followed it up with a 15-2 victory over Penn State Behrend.
The win moves the NCAA Division III 10th-ranked Washington & Jefferson women's water polo team even at 3-3 on the season with a 2-0 record in Collegiate Water Polo Association contests. Behrend drops to 0-3 overall, 0-2 in the CWPA, with the loss.
Within the first two minutes, the Presidents built a 3-0 lead, thanks to a pair of goals by 
Allison Rocha. 
Sarah Latzo scored her second goal of the game with 5:34 left in the first quarter to make it 4-0, and five different players found the back of the net throughout the rest of the period to give W&J a 9-0 lead after eight minutes.
Brittany Patterson recorded the only goal of the second quarter to give W&J a 10-0 lead at halftime.
Latzo and Rocha each completed the hat trick in the third quarter, along with goals by 
Sara Boldt and 
Rachel Clauss, as W&J opened up a 14-1 advantage through three quarters. 
Elizabeth Klock scored her second goal of the game in the fourth to bring the final margin to 15-2.
Latzo and Rocha each notched three goals, while Boldt, Klock and Patterson added a pair of scores a piece.
Morgan Kinyon made five saves, while 
Ally Hopkins blocked four shots as the two split time in net.
W&J hosts Grove City at 7:30 p.m. this evening at the Henry Natatorium in more CWPA action.
