WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Two members of the Washington & Jefferson women's water polo team earned Division III Player of the Week honors from the Collegiate Water Polo Association for their performances in Kenosha, Wisconsin last week.

Sophomore
Liz Klock (New Lennox, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) was named Player of the Week after leading the Presidents with 14 goals over the five games, including five goals against Utica in a 17-3 victory last Friday. Klock also tallied three different hat tricks over the course of the trip.

Ally Hopkins (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) recorded 71 saves, in five games, to claim Defensive Player of the Week laurels for the fourth time in her career. Hopkins had a season-high 18 blocks in a 10-3 win against Carthage, as well as 17 stops versus Monmouth and Connecticut.

W&J swept the field last week in Kenosha to improve to 5-4 on the year. The Presidents return to the pool on March 1st to take on Utica at 1 p.m. and Monmouth at 6:20 p.m. in Erie, Pa.
