MEADVILLE, Pa. – The W&J women's golf team concluded action at the Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Invitational in third place. The team shot a reduced 319 (+35) on day two for a total invite score of 643 (+75).

W&J: 3rd out of 9
Top W&J Individual: Megan Joyce (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands) remained the Presidents top golfer after the conclusion of round two, finishing tied for fourth place. Joyce shot a 79 (+8) on the second day for an invite score of 153 (+11).
Notables: MacKenzie Schmeltz (Edwardsburg, Mich./Saint Joseph) dropped just out of the top 10 after logging an improved day two score of 78 (+7) to finish tied for 11
th overall.
Julia Barthelemy (Crescent, Pa./Moon Area) finished in a four-way tie for 15
th. Barthelemy logged an improved score of 79 (+8) in round two to jump seven opposing golfers.
Antolena Damico (Irwin, Pa./Penn Trafford) finished with sole ownership of 23
rd-place after a round of 83 (+12) on day two.
Dinah Bailey (Baden, Pa./Ambridge) capped of the W&J golfers with a score of 95 (+24), to place tied for 32nd.
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Carnegie Mellon held strong in first place to win the Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Invitational. The Tartans compiled a team score of 613 (+45) over the course of the invite holding a 15-stroke lead over runner-up Mount St. Joseph.
Top Individual: Emma Wong of Carnegie Mellon claimed sole ownership of first place courtesy of a round two score of 73 (+3). Wong logged an invite score of 147 (+5) to slide past Katie Rose Rankin of Westminster and Alyssa Haverstraw of Mount St. Joseph. The combined runner-up finished with overall invite scores of 149 (+7).
Up next: W&J will take on their last regular season invite of the first semester before the fall portion of the conference championships at the JCU Fall Invitational, Saturday (Oct. 5).
