Johnson became the first W&J women’s tennis player to win a singles flight at the PAC Championships since Stacey Rathgeb in 1993 when the freshman took the 2015 PAC third singles championship on Saturday at the Pennbriar Club in Erie. Johnson, the flight’s third seed, claimed a 6-2, 6-3 win in the quarterfinals and 6-3, 6-1 win over the second seed in the semifinals before clinching the victory in a 6-3, 6-4 showing in the championship match.
