With it's completion in September 2015, the brand new Janet Swanson Tennis Center serves as the home site for the W&J men's and women's tennis teams.
Situated behind Greek Row on the upper North end of campus just off East Chestnut Street, the new Swanson Tennis Center features six fully lit courts with a central observation area. The tennis center also has two bathrooms, an equipment storage building, a beautiful brick entryway and spectator seating around the perimeter of all six courts.
The original W&J tennis courts were built in 1955 and sat next to the Henry Memorial Gymnasium. The courts were renovated and the naming rights of the Swanson Tennis Center occurred in the spring of 2001.
The new Swanson Tennis Center is open to all W&J faculty, staff, and students as well as season pass holders in the Washington community. The hours of operation are during normal daylight hours from March-November.
