Washington & Jefferson College Athletics

Valerie Dunlap became Washington & Jefferson College's career blocked shot leader during the second half of the Presidents' victory at Bethany Saturday.  She blocked a shot with 2:42 left in the game and added another 34 seconds later to increase her career total to 135.

Dunlap passed W&J Athletic Hall of Famer Leigh Sulkowski '06 (133 blocks) for the career record.  In 78 career games, Dunlap has produced 797 points, 601 rebounds and 135 steals. 

The 6-foot-3 center set a single-season record a year ago with 83 blocks.
