Meyers had a 5-0 week for W&J, including an individual title at 149 at the Jim Crytzer Invitational hosted by Washington & Lee. At the tournament, Meyers earned a 4:05 fall victory in the first round and then a 17-2 technical fall one second before the conclusion of his quarterfinal match. He claimed a 3-2 decision in the semifinals before needing just 2:21 to pin his opponent in the title match. The night before in the dual versus John Carroll, he scored a 7-6 decision against John Connick, who he bested in the semifinals on Saturday.
