Spearman won the 125-pound weight class at the John Summa Invitational hosted by Baldwin Wallace over the weekend as the final tune-up for this weeks PAC Championships on Friday evening at Thiel. Spearman earned a bye before posting a 10-1 major decision over Dillon Stowell of Brockport to open his action. A 5-0 decision by Spearman over Devante Gray of Wabash earned him a quarterfinal spot, where he defeated Tristan Buxton of Waynesburg, one of his likely competitors on Friday at Thiel. In the finals against Chris Doyle of Baldwin Wallace, who had previously bested eighth-ranked Asher Kramer of Brockport, Spearman scored a 10-5 decision to post the victory in the bracket.
