Vento continued his torrid pace to begin the 2016 season by hitting .643 (9-of-14) on the week with four walks, a sac fly, a double, one triple and two home runs, plus seven RBI and four runs scored, while also stealing two bases in three attempts. He ran his hitting streak to seven games with hits in all five contests, including going 5-for-6 with a triple, HR and walk (three RBI and two runs and stolen base) against La Roche. Against the Seahawks he was 3-for-5 with two walks, a sac fly, a double, homer, four RBI and two runs. He capped the week with a 1-for-3 plus a walk showing against F&M.
