The Washington & Jefferson women's water polo team hosted Grove City on its 2016 Senior Night Friday where Ally Hopkins held the Wolverines to three goals, 15-3. With the win, W&J clinched its first Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III regular season title as well as securing the number one seed in the CWPA DIII Championship. In the home matchup against Penn State Behrend Saturday, W&J topped the Lions, 10-8. Hopkins made 12 saves on the day with a game-high of six in the third quarter. Hopkins helped the Presidents top Grove City Saturday, 13-3, in the second matchup between the teams in two days. The win extended W&J's win streak to 13 while moving its overall record to 13-4 with a conference record of 13-0. Along with six saves, Hopkins scored her first career goal, shooting the length of the pool in a 13-12 loss against Gannon on Sunday. Hopkins allowed only one goal, capturing a 5-1 win over Penn State Behrend later that day. The Presidents' record improved to 14-5 while finishing the season unbeaten in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) with a record of 14-0.
