Washington & Jefferson College Athletics

Washington & Jefferson’s baseball team went 3-3 last week featuring the Presidents splitting two doubleheaders. Frank Fortunato went 10-22 (.455) in the six games while recording a .591 slugging percentage. Fortunato batted in seven runs last week as well as accounting for five runs of his own. The junior had three doubles in six games which plated four runs. Two of those doubles aided the Presidents in defeating Thiel 9-2 on Sunday.
