Chase helped the Presidents open up the 2016 campaign with a 1-1 record, but went 4-0 in all four of her matches.
Against NCAA Division II Fairmont State (W.Va.) in Thursday's opener, she bested Kate Lauerman at sixth singles by a 6-1, 6-1 score. She also teamed with Rachel Johnson (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) to earn an 8-5 victory at second doubles over the team of Mollee Brown and Natalia Vasquez.
On Saturday, she helped the Presidents to a 9-0 sweep on the road at Muskingum. At fifth singles, she topped Rebecca Epler 6-0, 6-0, and paired with Megan Berard (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) for an 8-2 win at second doubles.
