Freshman wrestler Sonnieboy Blanco recorded a second-place finish to help Washington & Jefferson place fourth Saturday at the Ursinus Will Abele Wrestling Invitational. Blanco notched a 3-1 record at 165 pounds and now boasts a team-high 23 victories against only six losses. Blanco opened by defeating West Chester's Chad Baribault 20-11 and then knocked off Connor Burns of RPI 7-3. An 8-4 victory over Penn State-Mont Alto's Clay Kocsis moved him into the championship match where Blanco suffered an 8-7 setback against Ursinus' Anthony Carlo.
