Washington & Jefferson College Athletics

Krista McCartney posted a 3-0 last week as a pitcher for the W&J softball team.  She pitched 15 1/3 innings in four appearances and held opponents to five runs on 12 hits. 

On Saturday, McCartney was victorious in both ends of a doubleheader versus Grove City, including a four-hit shutout in the opener. 

McCartney has helped the Presidents to a 16-6 overall record thus far and W&J enters this week on a six-game win streak.  She is 5-2 overall with a 3.12 ERA.
