Florentino earned the Presidents' Athletic Conference 157-pound championship at Waynesburg last week. He received a bye in the quarterfinals, but was still able to claim 15 points for W&J at 157 as he pinned Dan Verhovsek (Waynesburg) in 4:00 in the semifinals and was able to hand Jimmy Traub of Thomas More a 3-1 loss in the championship bout. His 2-0 mark improves Florentino to 27-8 this year and pushes him past 75 career wins in Red & Black, while also tying him for 12th place all-time at 77 victories.
