Washington & Jefferson College Athletics

Kara Seamon, the Presidents' 5-foot-6 point guard, moved into sixth place on the Washington & Jefferson women's basketball career assist list after averaging 7.0 during a 1-1 week last week.  She also produced three steals in the two games. 

Seamon passed Regina Dixon '99 for sixth place in the school record book after producing the 285th of her career versus Thiel on Saturday.  She is 58 shy of Ann Aigner '90 for fifth place all-time. 

Seamon scored 11 points on Wednesday versus Saint Vincent for her sixth double-figure scoring game of the season. 

Seamon also earned a big honor last week as she was selected to the Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.  She has amassed a 3.99 GPA.
