BJ Monacelli begins his first season as his alma mater as the safeties coach during the 2014 season.
A May 2014 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College with a degree in Business Administration and minor in Communication Arts, Monacelli was a two-time All-Presidents' Athletic Conference selection at safety. Following his senior campaign in 2013, Monacelli also added First Team All-ECAC South honors and was selected as Capital One Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
As a senior, Monacelli led the Presidents and ranked second in the PAC with five interceptions, while finishing second on the team with 63 tackles (36 solo).
A native of Cassadaga, N.Y., and a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School, he was a First-Team All-New York defensive back in 2009 and was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame and had his jersey retired in 2010.
His past experience includes serving as a camp instructor at the Sirianni Brother football camp and as a marketing and ticket sales intern in the St. Bonaventure Athletic Department.
