Mary Plotas enters her first season as the Intern Assistant Coach for the Washington & Jefferson field hockey team in 2017.
Prior to arriving at W&J, Plotas served as the head coach for the varsity and junior varsity field hockey teams at Damascus High School in Maryland for the 2016 season.
A 2016 graduate from Adelphi University, Plotas received a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice and was a member of the field hockey team. Plotas was named a Synapse Sports First Team All-American in 2014, an All-Northeast 10 Conference First Team honoree, as well as an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II First Team All-Star in 2014 as she ranked third in NCAA Division II in goals (24) and game-winning goals (6). During the 2013 season, she was named to the NE-10 Honor Roll Week 3.
Plotas also carries with her certifications in CPR and First Aid.
