Kendra Jones enters her fourth season as head coach of the women's soccer program at W&J in 2022. 

The Presidents advanced to the PAC Tournament Semifinals in the fall of 2021. W&J finished with a 6-2-1 mark in PAC play and a 10-8-2 mark overall. Jones guided W&J to its first PAC Tournament win since 2010 with a 1-0 double overtime triumph over Waynesburg on Oct. 30. Five Presidents received All-PAC honors following the season, as W&J was led by sophomores Katie Borwn and Makenna Mann, who earned Second Team laurels. W&J earned recognition from the United Soccer Coaches with Silver status on the Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Awards. Academically, the team excelled as well, as Kayla Daugherty and Katie Hahn received Academic All-District honors from CoSIDA. 

W&J recorded a 2-3-2 overall record during an shortened spring schedule in 2021. The Presidents picked up conference wins over Waynesburg and Geneva during the season. Katie Hahn and Hannah Johnston were both named Academic All-District by CoSIDA. Hahn also earned Second Team All-PAC honors.
 
Jones served as the interim head coach for the team during the 2019 season. The Presidents finished 4-1-3 in Presidents' Athletic Conference play and 6-9-3 overall this fall. W&J earned the No. 3 seed in the PAC Championship Tournament, where they fell 2-0 to eventual league champion Grove City in the semifinals. It marked the sixth straight season that the Presidents qualified for the four-team PAC Tournament. 
 
Following the 2019 season, junior midfielder Marcy Saldivar (Darlington, Pa./Blackhawk) along with sophomore forward Katie Hahn (Volant, Pa./Wilmington) secured All-PAC First Team recognition while junior defender Hannah Johnston (East Freedom, Pa./Central) picked up Second Team honors. Additionally, Johnston was named First Team Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). 

Jones joined the women's soccer coaching staff in April of 2018 as its intern assistant coach. W&J finished the 2018 season with a 9-9-2 overall record, which included a 6-2 mark in Presidents' Athletic Conference play. The Presidents qualified for the PAC Tournament for a fifth straight year and also appeared in the ECAC Tournament. 
  
She worked primarily with the goalkeepers during the 2018 season. That group produced tremendous success, as Shayla Watkins and Beth Boyles combined to tally nine shutouts, which ranked as the second most in the conference. 

Jones played collegiately at a pair of Division I institutions, competing for two years at both American University (2009-11) and Villanova University (2011-13), where she received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing in the spring of 2013. 
 
Prior to arriving at Washington & Jefferson, Jones spent the previous four years coaching and playing for several clubs in Australia. In addition to coaching and playing in Australia, Jones also spent a year playing for AC Sparta Praha in the Czech Republic.

She holds several coaching licenses from the United Soccer Coaches, including her Advanced National Diploma and her Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma. She also holds a Sports Nutrition Certification as well as a Strength and Conditioning Certification.
