Box Score BETHANY, W.Va. -- The Presidents dropped a 3-0 (25-21, 25-12, 25-23) decision at Bethany in the first part of a split doubleheader.
With the loss, the Washington & Jefferson volleyball team falls to 11-8 on the season and 5-7 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. The Bison improve to 18-10 and 11-1 in the league. W&J has a quick turn around, hosting Chatham at 7:30 p.m. at Henry Memorial Gymnasium to conclude the split doubleheader.
Brooke Lininger led W&J with eight kills and a .375 hitting percentage.
Alexis Hilzendeger added six kills and
Nicole Bishwaty had five.
Megan Stoehr (14) and
Emily Toy (11) combined for 25 assists. Bishwaty (three) and
Allison Means (two) combined for five of W&J's six service aces.
Means collected a team-best 15 digs and Bennett had a game-high four blocks.
