CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. -- The top-seed Thomas More women's soccer team eliminated the fourth-seeded Presidents in the Presidents' Athletic Conference semifinals, 5-0.
The Washington & Jefferson women's soccer team ends the season 9-8-2, while the No. 10 Saints improve to 19-1 on the year.
Thomas More struck just 1:54 into the game when Olivia Huber, the nation's second-leading scorer, found the back of the net. The Saints went on to add two more goals in the first half to hold a 3-0 lead at halftime.
Twice in the second half the hosts added on, including an own goal by W&J in the 53rd minute.
The Saints held a 28-1 advantage on shots with
Hayley Skovira recording W&J's lone shot (on goal). Thomas More also received four yellow cards to W&J's one.
Morgan Kinyon made eight saves in her final collegiate game.
