WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson men's basketball team succumbed to Thomas More, 95-69, in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.
W&J was led by
Mike Resnik, who posted his fourth double-double of the season with 22 points and 10 rebounds. He also contributed a team-best five assists.
Mitch Locher posted a season-high for the second-consecutive game, totaling 16 points.
Brian Lindquist went into double figures for the first time of his tenure in the red and black with 11 points in just 16 minutes.
Thomas More (9-5, 4-1) jumped out to a 44-32 lead in the first half thanks to 27 points by Nate McGovney who connected on seven-of-eight three-point attempts in the first 20 minutes. McGovney finished with 33 points to lead all players, including four in double figures. Drew Mumford, the PAC's leading scorer, contributed 19 points.
The Presidents (1-13, 0-5) hit the road for a pair of contests, beginning with a 7:30 p.m. tip-off at two-time defending league champion Saint Vincent.
