LATROBE, Pa. -- The Presidents trailed by 24 at halftime and were unable to overcome the deficit in a 90-61 loss at league co-leader Saint Vincent.

With the loss, the Washington & Jefferson women's basketball team drops to 10-4 on the season with a 4-3 mark in Presidents' Athletic Conference action. The Bearcats improve to 13-1 this year and 7-0 in the PAC.

After the Presidents opened up a 6-0 lead thanks to triples by Alexa DelGreco and Taylor Cortazzo in the early going. SVC answered with a 22-2 run that pushed the game to 22-8 with 12:21 to go.

The halftime score had W&J trailing, 49-25.

In the second half, Medovich scored 10 of her team-leading 15 points, including three-of-five from three-point range. Valerie Dunlap also scored 10 points in the second half of her 12 gor the game. Beka Bellhy finished with 13 points after 10 in the opening period.

W&J travels to Bethany for a 2 p.m. tip on Saturday, Jan. 17.
