NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Presidents moved into the sixth seed in the upcoming Presidents' Athletic Conference tournament with a 3-0 loss at Westminster to close out the regular season.
With the loss, the Washington & Jefferson volleyball team wraps up the 2015 regular slate with a 14-11 record and 9-9 mark in league games.
As the sixth seed, the Presidents will travel to third-seeded Bethany on Tuesday, Nov. 3 for a 7 p.m. quarterfinal match-up with the Bison.
Set scores against the Titans on Saturday night were 26-24, 25-20, 25-15.
Allison Means posted 23 digs in the match to give her 1,182 for her career and place her fifth on the W&J career list from the rally scoring era.
Abigail Eich and
Madison Lydic each notched a pair of blocks on defense as well.
Eich led the Presidents with 11 kills, while
Nicole Bishwaty added 10 kills with 14 assists for her 14th double-double of the season.
Emily Toy handed out a team-best 18 assists.
