CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY. – In the final regular season game of the season, Washington & Jefferson fell 4-0 to Thomas More at BB&T Field.
With the loss, W&J finishes its season with an overall record of 9-7-2 and a record in the Presidents' Athletic Conference of 4-4-0.
Although Thomas More took 12 shots in the first 43:41 of the match, it wasn't until the end of the first half, at 44:37, that the 13th one snuck past
Benny Wilt.
The Presidents brought their shot count up to four in the second half, but still fell short of the Saints' five.
At only 4:23 into the second period, Thomas More notched their second of the match. The lead was increased with a penalty kick goal at 58:34 and shortly after, at 65:10, Thomas More scored their last goal of the match.
Despite five of its nine shots landing on goal, W&J was not able to retaliate, ending the match with a score of 4-0.
Jason Menni led Washington & Jefferson's attack with three shots.

Paul Mokrzan all aided the offense by landing one shot on goal each.
Wilt played 72:02 and made six saves for the Presidents before
Nick Stasko took over for 17:58 and tallied a save. The loss gives Wilt a regular season record of 9-7-2.
