Angell becomes W&J all-time goals leader

SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson senior Tim Angell became the men's lacrosse program's all-time leader in goals in a 13-3 loss at Susquehanna.

Angell converted an unassisted, man-up opportunity at the 9:07-mark of the second quarter to put the Presidents on the board during a 13-3 loss. It was the 132nd of his career, moving him out of a first-place tie with former teammate Joseph Eck ('13). He added a second goal 4:40 later off an assist from Zachary Fredericks.

Bryan Whipkey added the lone other goal in the contest for the Presidents (7-6, 1-4 Landmark Conference). Jake Calder led Susquehanna (10-3, 4-1) with three goals on the day.

Jacob Succop dropped to 6-5 on the year in goal, making 11 saves in the defeat.

W&J will host Notre Dame de Namur (Calif.) on Monday, April 13 at 5 p.m. in a non-conference match.
