FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The Washington & Jefferson women's tennis team edged NCAA Division II Fairmont State, 5-4, thanks to a 3-0 showing in doubles action.
With the win, the Presidents improve to 2-0 on the season, while the Fighting Falcons drop to 3-2.
W&J travels to Crestview Hills, Ky. to open Presidents' Athletic Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 19 against Thomas More.
