Men's Water Polo defeats Salem International on the road

Result: W, 11-6

How it Happened: Washington & Jefferson's men's water polo triumphed over Salem International, 11-6, in Salem, W.Va. The win can be attributed to a team effort, as W&J not only strong offensively, but was strong defensively as well. The team now sits at an overall record of 3-2. 

Top Performers: Patrick Fredrick led the team on the attack, picking up seven of the 11 goals. Mac Hennessy continued to be a strong foundation for the team, making 10 blocks.

The Rest: Owen Hanna, Benjamin McGrath, Collin Higgins, and Joshua Emde all added a goal each.

What's Next: Men's water polo will host Monmouth (Ill.) at Henry Memorial Natatorium for its only home game of the season on Sunday, Sept. 20, at 11:00 am.
