WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson swept four of the nine total flights on the evening as it cruised to a 9-0 win over Thiel at the Swanson Tennis Center.
With the win, the Presidents improve to 7-0 on the season with a 4-0 mark in the Presidents' Athletic Conference, leaving them in first place atop the league standings, 0.5 games ahead of Westminster who is 3-0. The Tomcats drop to 1-7 overall and 1-4 PAC matches.
W&J travels to 27-time league champion Grove City on Thursday, Oct. 1 for a 3:30 p.m. match with the Wolverines (4-5, 2-1).
