BETHANY, W.Va. -- The Washington & Jefferson men's basketball team was edged by Bethany, 71-62, in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at the Henry Memorial Center.
Four Presidents scored in double figures on the day, led by
Brian Lindquist who totaled game highs of 18 points and 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season and third of his career.
Brian Graytok and
Christian Rohaus each collected 12 points, with Graytok turning in a game-best four assists.
Kodie Hanley matched his career high with nine rebounds to go with his 11 points, narrowly missing his the first double-double of his career. Hanley, who ranks second in the PAC in blocked shots, registered four in the contest, marking the fifth time this season he's turned away at least four shots.
On the afternoon, W&J connected on 43.8 percent (21-48) from the field to hold a slim advantage over Bethany who converted 42.9 percent (27-63).
The Presidents will hit the road for a pair of league games next week, beginning with an 8 p.m. tip at Westminster on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
