BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson opened the afternoon by sweeping all three doubles matches before settling in for a 7-2 win at Geneva.
With the victory, the Presidents improve to 8-3 this season, including a 6-1 mark in the Presidents' Athletic Conference, placing them second in the league standings. The Golden Tornadoes fall under .500 in the league at 3-4, and are now 8-5 overall.
W&J will return home to the Janet L. Swanson Tennis Center on Thursday, Oct. 13 when it hosts PAC foe Grove City at 5:30 p.m.
