HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson men's basketball team was defeated at Juniata, 85-59, on Tuesday night, Nov. 22.
Sean Stinelli (Harrison City, Pa./Penn-Trafford) scored a career-high, and game-high, 17 points as the freshman also nailed a career-high four three-pointers on five attempts.
Brian Graytok (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic) was the only other Presidents to record double-digit points, as he totaled 13 on 5-of-10 shooting from the field. This is the third time in four games this season that Graytok has scored in double figures.
The duo of
Brian Lindquist (Narvon, Pa./Pequa Valley) and
Christian Rohaus (Harrison City, Pa./Penn-Trafford) tied for the team lead with three rebounds each, one shy of the game high.
As a team, W&J knocked down a season-high 11 three-pointers, connecting on 36.7 percent from beyond-the-arc (11-of-30). The 11 triples represent the most by the Presidents since hitting 11 in a 99-67 win over Penn State DuBois on Dec. 22, 2014.
The Presidents will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 26, for their home opener against Muskingum at 3 p.m.
