Presidents put four in double figures, fall to Westminster

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Presidents put four players in double figures, but couldn't push past Westminster at the Henry Memorial Center, 99-75.

Washington & Jefferson and Westminster are slated to meet in the opening round of the PAC tournament on Monday, Feb. 22 at a time to be determined at the Buzz Ridl Gymnasium in New Wilmington, Pa.

Brian Lindquist tied for the game high as he matched his career high with 22 points and a game-best 11 rebounds in his sixth double-double of the season. The sophomore finished 7-of-15 from the field and 8-11 at the free-throw line. Joe Satira knocked down four three-pointers en route to 18 points, one shy of matching his career high of 19 from earlier this year against Juniata. The rookie also collected a career-best nine boards, the second-highest total in the contest.

For the 22nd time in 24 games, Brian Graytok reached double figures, scoring 17 points, thanks to 14 in the first half. He also pulled down six boards and handed out five assists, tied for the most on the evening. Joel Garcia knocked down three triples in the second half in scoring 13 points for the game and adding four helpers.

The Presidents are set to close out the 2015-16 regular season on Saturday, Feb. 20 with a 4 p.m. tip-off at Bethany.
