W&J opens ORLC play with 14-4 win over Thomas More

WASHINGTON, Pa. – Four Washington & Jefferson women's lacrosse players recorded hat tricks in a 14-4 victory against Ohio River Lacrosse Conference foe Thomas More Sunday.
 
Ashley Bulger, Caroline Kallos, Monica Ewansik and Diana Harvey netted three goals apiece with Lauren Brown and Alex Dikos each tallying one of their own. Kallos and Bulger improved their season goal totals to 20 on the year.
 
The Presidents controlled the entire game by leading for 60 minutes, tallied seven goals per half and only allowed the Saints to score twice in each half.
 
W&J goalkeeper Michaela Mulokey saved 9 of 13 shots on goal as she earned the win to improve to 2-1 on the season.
 
The Presidents scored 14 goals on 23 shots and tallied 11 draw controls (six by Kallos) to the Saints' nine.
 
Kallos and Bulger each recorded their fifth multi-goal game of the season with Kallos also accumulating four assists in the victorious effort.
 
W&J will travel to New Concord, Ohio to take on Muskingum on March 30 at 6 p.m.
