How it Happened: On the second day of the Mercyhurst Invitational, W&J Men's Water Polo defeated Salem International, 14-13, for its first win of the season. It also marked the first head coaching victory for W&J first-year leader
Cassie Wyckoff.

Top Performers: Nicholas Willison (Rockford, Mich./Rockford) was a force for the Presidents on offense, leading the way with seven goals. Willison also contributed a steal, a drawn ejection and a block on defense.
Tyler Willison (Rockford, Mich./Rockford) came in second on the team with three goals and two drawn ejections.

Patrick Fredrick (Saratoga, Calif./Bellarmine College Prep),
Dylan Gwinn (Baltimore, Md./Mount St. Joseph) and
Joshua Emde (Ballwin, Mo./Parkway West) each scored once to round out the President scoring while Emde led the team with two blocks in the game.
Mac Hennessy (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon) was back in net for the Presidents and made nine saves.

What's next: The Presidents will travel to Lewisburg, Pa. for the Bucknell Invitational where they will take on Bucknell (1:15 p.m.) and St. Francis (Brooklyn) (7:30 p.m.) on Saturday, Sept. 17, and then Harvard (2:15 p.m.) and Navy (6 p.m.) the next day.
