GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson women's tennis team secured a 9-0 win at Thiel to begin Presidents' Athletic Conference play.
The victory moves the Presidents to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the league. The Tomcats slip to 0-4 on the year and 0-2 in conference matches.
The Presidents will travel to PAC foe Bethany on Friday, Sept. 16 for a 3:30 p.m. match. This Sunday's scheduled match against Thomas More has been postponed to Sunday, Oct. 9, with a 12 p.m. start at the Janet Swanson Tennis Center.
