ALTOONA, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson women's tennis team improved to 5-2 on the year with a 9-0 nonconference win on the road at Penn State Altoona.
The victory brings W&J's record to 4-1 on the road in 2016. The loss drops Penn State Altoona to 5-4 overall.
The Presidents will return to Presidents' Athletic Conference action on Saturday, Oct. 1, when they hit the road to New Wilmington, Pa., for an 11 a.m. match against defending league co-champion Westminster.
