How it Happened:Â The Washington & Jefferson men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Oberlin, Ohio, to compete in the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday, Oct. 14, where the men finished in 12th place out of 31 teams, and the women placed 21st out of 29.

Top Finishers: Harley Moyer (Akron, Ohio/Firestone) led the men's team with a second-place finish out of 265 runners with a personal best time of 25:13.08, 4.8 seconds behind first place.
Payton McAninch (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) was the top women's finisher for W&J as she placed 63rd out of 240 with a time of 23:51.1.

The Rest: Trey Razanauskas (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) finished 29th with his total time of 26:13.1, while
Shane Burkhart (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) placed 70th in a time of 26:58.4.Â
Grant McCarthy (Harmony, Pa./Seneca Valley) and
Alec Drabish (Solon, Ohio/Solon) ended in 130th and 145th, respectively, with times of 27:46.2 and 28:02.
Colin Meehan (Freeport, Pa./Freeport),
Billy Lott (Ellwood City, Pa./Ellwood City),
Anthony Voto (New Castle, Pa./New Castle), and
Brandon Marcucci (Presto, Pa./Chartiers Valley) rounded out the men's runners with times of 29:15.7, 29:56.4, 32:20.3, and 32:47.8, respectively.

For the women,
Maggie Briceland (Salem, Ohio/United Local) earned 86th place with a time of 24:16.1 and
Hannah Lacey (Brownsville, Pa./Bethlehem Center) followed in 145th in a time of 25:37.1.
Hannah Robart (Johnstown, Pa./Westmont Hilltop) finished with a run of 25:47.1, and
Kate Sullivan (Hatfield, Pa./North Penn) and
Olivia Trauner (Centerville, Pa./Union City) finished up the day for W&J with times of 26:31.9 and 28:55.6, respectively.
