WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson women's volleyball team ended its 2017 campaign with a 3-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference tournament quarterfinal loss to Geneva on Tuesday, Oct. 31, by scores of 21-25, 25-19, 28-26 and 25-19.

The loss caps off a 14-11 overall season with an 11-7 conference record in
Lauren London-Law's inaugural season at W&J. It also represents the fourth straight year the team has made the postseason.

Mallory O'Brien (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) moved into fifth place on the career assist leaderboard (rally scoring era) with 42 assists to push her career number to 1,455 in only two seasons.

Abbey Eich (Greencastle, Pa./St. Maria Goretti (Md.)) led the offense with 13 kills, followed by
Madison Lydic (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBoeuf) with 12 kills.
Julia Bernesser (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler) and
Julia Galbraith (Pittsburgh, Pa./Vincentian Academy) finished with seven kills apiece.
Brooke Lininger (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) tallied four kills and two service aces in her final collegiate contest.

Katie Conner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Vincentian Academy) commanded the defense with 26 digs, and
Makenzie Coughlin (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) added 24 more. O'Brien and Galbraith ended with 19 each and four blocks apiece, while Lydic led all players with six blocks and Eich posted four also (one solo).
