Second-half surge sinks Presidents at Allegheny, 75-54

Box Score MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The home team pulled away in the second half as the Washington & Jefferson men's basketball team fell to host Allegheny, 75-54, on the second and final day of the Greg Richards Memorial Classic.

Four Presidents scored in double figures, with Sean Stinelli (Harrison City, Pa./Penn-Trafford) leading the team with 13 points, backed by a trio of three-pointers. Stinelli also added four rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes.

Brian Lindquist (Narvon, Pa./Pequea Valley) and Nicholas Campalong (Sewickley, Pa./Ambridge) both accounted for 12 points, with the duo being the top rebounds for W&J on the day thanks to nine from Campalong and six by Lindquist. The duo also blocked five shots (three by Lindquist) on the evening.

Brian Graytok (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic) chipped in 10 points, five boards and three steals.

W&J turned 14 Allegheny turnovers into 15 points, while getting 24 points in the paint.

The Presidents will open the home portion of the 2017-18 schedule on Tuesday, Nov. 21 when they host Juniata at 7 p.m. at the Henry Memorial Gymnasium.
