GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson men's basketball team suffered defeat at the hands of Thiel, 90-74, on Wednesday night, Feb. 8, in Presidents' Athletic Conference play.
Brian Graytok (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic) finished with a game-high 21 points, his fifth 20-point game of the season, and also pulled down six rebounds, dished out six assists and came away with three steals.
Sean Stinelli (Harrison City, Pa./Penn-Trafford) scored 15 points, marking his seventh consecutive game recording double-digit points, while he also grabbed two rebounds and had four assists.
Jonathan DeVito (Pittsburgh, Pa./Pittsburgh Central Catholic) scored eight points on 3-of-4 shooting from the field, including 2-for-3 on three-pointers, while
Sven Zepic (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) scored nine points.
For the game, the Presidents came away with more steals (9-7) and won the turnover battle (16-10) while holding an advantage in second chance points (12-10).
The Presidents will return to the court on Saturday, Feb. 11, when they travel to Bethany in a 4 p.m. PAC matchup.
