FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The Washington & Jefferson women's tennis team was handed its first loss of the 2017 season when it dropped a 9-0 nonconference decision at NCAA Division II Fairmont State.
The loss drops the Presidents to 2-1 thus far this season, with a pending Presidents' Athletic Conference match remaining. W&J leads that match 2-1 through doubles play.
W&J is back on the court tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 13, traveling to Saint Vincent for more PAC action. First serve in Latrobe, Pa., is set for 3:30 p.m.
