WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson women's tennis team swept all three singles matches by an 8-0 score and combined to drop just six sets in singles as the Presidents blanked visiting Waynesburg at the Janet L. Swanson Tennis Center.
The victory pushes W&J out to 7-4 this season, including a perfect 5-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. Waynesburg drops to 2-6 overall, 0-5 in the PAC.
W&J will host Grove City in a Senior Day match on Friday, Oct. 5, beginning at 4 p.m.
