BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- The Presidents completed conference play with a 6-1 record after defeating Geneva, 7-2, on the road Monday night.
The Washington & Jefferson women's tennis team, which improved to 8-5 overall by besting the Golden Tornadoes, will conclude the fall portion of the season with one more nonconference match at Penn State Behrend on Tuesday, Oct. 9, before taking part in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships next week. W&J will be the second seed in the tournament will host a quarterfinal match on Tuesday, Oct. 16. With the switch to a team format this year, the team semifinals (Friday) and finals (Saturday) will be played at the Janet L. Swanson Tennis Center in Washington.
