CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. -- Washington & Jefferson got the seventh-straight double-digit game from
Sean Stinelli (Harrison City, Pa./Penn-Trafford), but was unable to overcome a blistering hot shooting start from host Thomas More in a 92-70 loss.
Stinelli scored 16 of his points in the first half, where he shot 5-of-7 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range. The Saints, however, came out firing on their senior day, knocking down shots from the field at a 72.7 percent (24-of-33) clip and three-pointers at an 80-percent mark (12-of-15) over the first 20 minutes.
In his final game as a President,
Brian Lindquist (Narvon, Pa./Pequea Valley) registered 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting.
Sven Zepic (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) and
Jonathan DeVito (Pittsburgh, Pa./Pittsburgh Central Catholic) added eight and seven points, respectively. Zepic's five rebounds led the team, while
Cameron Seemann (Loveland, Ohio/Archbishop Moeller) came off the bench to contribute season highs of six points and four rebounds.
