PITTSBURGH – The Washington & Jefferson men's basketball team lost a 64-49 decision on the road to Chatham in a Presidents' Athletic Conference contest on Saturday, Feb. 3.

The Presidents and Cougars went back and forth throughout the first 10 minutes of the first half with W&J earning a slight 19-17 edge. Over the next eight minutes of game time, Chatham went on a 14-2 run to take a 31-21 lead, its largest lead of the half, before
Sean Stinelli (Harrison City, Pa./Penn-Trafford) hit his third of three triples with a minute left to close the first-half scoring as Chatham held a 31-24 advantage at the break.

W&J continued to fight in the second half and cut the Chatham lead to as little as four points with 9:22 remaining in regulation. After the Cougars increased their lead to 51-46, they scored 13 straight points over a five-minute span late in the second half to end the Presidents' chances of a comeback win.

Stinelli finished with 11 points in the game and shot 3-for-4 from beyond the arc, his eighth game this season with three three-pointers the third consecutive occurrence.

Jonathan DeVito (Pittsburgh, Pa./Pittsburgh Central Catholic) totaled nine points and four rebounds while
Brian Lindquist (Narvon, Pa./Pequea Valley) pulled down a season-high 11 rebounds, his second double-digit rebound performance of the season.

The Presidents will be back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 7, when they host Thiel at 8:00 p.m. in PAC action from Henry Memorial Gym.
