WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Washington & Jefferson women's tennis team was finally able to get the 2018 campaign underway and posted a 7-2 victory over Pitt-Greensburg at the Janet L. Swanson Tennis Center.
Weather wreaked havoc on the opening portion of the Presidents' slate as the first four matches of the season were postponed or canceled, including the first scheduled meeting with UPG. However, W&J secured the win and improved to 1-0 on the season ahead of three scheduled matches this weekend beginning with a 5 p.m. nonconference fray against Muskingum in Washington.
