NEW CONCORD, Ohio – Washington & Jefferson got the equalized from
Connor Anderson (Cogan Station, Pa./Jersey Shore) in the in the 68th minute, but the host Muskies scored in the 110th minute to claim the 2-1 nonconference victory.

W&J fell behind initially in the 21st minute when the hosts struck for an early lead. The 1-0 deficit held until
Matt Prezioso (Clairton, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) connected with Anderson for the latter's first goal of the season at the 67:15 mark. It would be enough to force overtime, however, the Presidents were forced to play man down for the final nearly 33 minutes after a red card was issued against the visitors at the 76:24 mark.

Shots for the match were nearly identical as Muskingum posted 19 to W&J's 18. The Presidents recorded seven corners to the Muskies' five.
Paul Mokrzan (Hilliard, Ohio/Watterson) led all players with a season-high six shots.

Nick Stasko (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) suffered the hard-luck loss, but made a season-high eight saves in 109:06 in goal.

W&J will open Presidents' Athletic Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 29 at home against Thiel at 3 p.m. Due to a unique scheduling quirk this season, the match will mark Senior Day for the Presidents.
