WASHINGTON, Pa. -- For the first time since the completion of construction in March of 2017, the Washington & Jefferson women's tennis team hosted a tennis match inside the James David Ross Family Recreation Center, and the Presidents dropped an 8-1 decision against NCAA Division II Fairmont State.
With the defeat, W&J falls to 5-3 this season with two of the three losses at the hands of Division II counterparts. FSU improves to 2-2 this year.
The Presidents travel to Alliance, Ohio for a 3:30 p.m. nonconference match against Mount Union on Friday, Sept. 28.
