WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College men's basketball team will travel to Chatham University on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. for the Quarterfinals of the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament.

The fifth seeded Presidents (10-15, 8-8 PAC) will face off with the fourth seeded Cougars (16-9, 9-7 PAC) in Chatham's Athletic & Fitness Center.

The Presidents and Cougars split the two meetings during the regular season, with both road teams claiming victory on the opposition's home floor. W&J broke a first half tie to earn a 77-71 win over Chatham on Dec. 5. The Cougars returned the favor by overcoming a 12-point halftime deficit to down the Presidents by a 62-57 score on Jan. 26.

W&J is led by leading scorer sophomore Cameron Seemann (Loveland, Ohio/Archbishop Moeller), who averaged a team-high 17.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season.

Freshman guard Primo Zini (Morgantown, W.Va./Trinity Christian) has added 11.6 points per game during his freshman season. Zini, a five-time winner of PAC Rookie of the Week honors this season also leads the team in free throw shooting (82.3 percent).

Sophomore guard Zach Queen (Jeannette, Pa./Hempfield) provides outside shooting for W&J. Queen drained a PAC-best and single-season school record 78 triples during the regular season.

Chatham also is led by a trio of double-digit scorers, all of which are seniors. Isaiah Brown (16.6 per game), Will Sandherr (14.2 per game) and Alex Schoppen (10.6 per game) pace a Cougars offense that averages 71.5 points per contest.

W&J will look to secure a spot in the PAC Tournament Semifinals for the first time since the 2011-12 season when the Presidents advanced to the final four as the seventh seed. The Cougars, in just their fourth year of existence as a program, will attempt to advance to the PAC Tournament Semifinals for the first time.

Tuesday's contest between W&J and Chatham will be covered by the PAC Sports Network (http://www.pacstream.net).

Elsewhere on Tuesday, top-seeded Saint Vincent (21-4, 14-2 PAC) will host eighth-seeded Thiel College (7-18, 5-11 PAC) while second-seeded Grove City College (14-10, 10-6 PAC) will play host to seventh-seeded Geneva College (9-16, 6-10 PAC). Third-seeded Westminster College (11-14, 9-7 PAC) will host sixth-seeded Waynesburg University (8-17, 7-9 PAC)

In Thursday's semifinal round, the tournament's lowest remaining seed will travel to the highest remaining seed with the two remaining middle seeds meeting at the higher of the two. Both semifinal matchups are slated for 7 p.m.

Saturday's title game will be hosted by the higher seed remaining following Thursday's semifinals, with the start time scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Admission to all PAC Championship Tournament games is $5 for adults and $2 for students, with students at PAC host institutions admitted for free with valid identification.

The winner of the PAC's Championship Tournament will receive the league's automatic qualifying bid to this year's Division III Championship Tournament, which gets underway Friday, March 1. The selected Division III Championship teams and tournament pairings will be announced Monday, February 25.
